this past weekend i went and visited my dad in Tampa (my parents are divorced). i really needed a getaway because this semester my school and work schedule is hectic. we walked around Ybor City on Saturday night. we went to a Farmer's market on Sunday and it was really fun because we got to drink some delicious and healthy smoothies and milkshakes. also, there was lots of vendors selling handmade products that are fun to look at because they are so unique. my favorite thing there was a dinosaur with a succulent coming out of its' back. (ever since i saw the movie Jurrasic World, i have been obsessed with dinosaurs and this toy looked like one of the dinosaurs in the movie!) later on Sunday afternoon my dad made us some chicken wings on the grill (which were amazing) and after a short nap we ventured back to the homeland (fort myers). it was an eventful weekend and much needed break from reality!
P.S i got to eat some Krispy Kreme doughnuts. be jealous. 😜
P.S.S a succulent is a type of plant. they are low maintenance and ADORABLE.
